I am fascinated with the concept of Kintsugi or Kintsukuroi, the Japanese art of aggrandizing broken pottery, thereby rendering the broken pieces more valuable.
Scars and their stories, our broken bits, are something we don't explore fully enough with storytelling and art. Let's change that dialogue, especially that of the internal.
